THE NEIGHBORHOOD
In some ways, with its blending of the arts and businesses, non-profits and retail, Ix is a 17-acre neighborhood. You can go from the office to the workout gym to the theatre without leaving the property.

But when you do leave, leave your car behind, because the Historic Downtown Mall is only three blocks away. Enjoy a show at Live Arts, The Paramount or one of the movie theaters. Take a spin around the skating rink. Join friends for a little night music in the soaring amphitheatre, or relax with your favorite band in the intimate setting of Gravity Lounge. Afterwards, stroll down the brick pedestrian mall and choose from one of the many fine restaurants such as Zocalo, Petit Pois and Bashir’s. Shops, cafes, bookstores…even City Hall is in the neighborhood.

A short drive, and you are at Main Street Market, home of Feast gourmet shop, an organic butcher and Gearharts chocolatier. Just a few blocks further and you can explore the grounds of the University of Virginia.
